The Golden West seems to hold down the fort in Fort Bragg. The iconic saloon and hotel establishment has been open in some iteration since the mid 1800’s, serving patrons associated with the logging industry. The wooden carved bar is centerpiece in the saloon’s high ceilinged spacious main room and reminds you that this place has been here awhile. Sidle on up and order a margarita or beer on tap.

The lodging units, operating under the name Anchor Lodge, date to the 1940’s and offers newly remodeled water front rooms.
