HarborView Bistro and Bar

Where Luxury Meets History

At HarborView Bistro & Bar, fresh wild-caught fish and seafood are sourced when possible from the harbor below, joined by delicate vegetables and herbs gathered from the chef’s garden. Enjoy a laid back take on fine coastal cuisine, alongside Prohibition-era cocktails, and all with river views as your backdrop.

The spacious patio, perched directly above the working harbor with the sounds of the river making their way up, has become a Fort Bragg favorite for both visitors and locals. It serves equally well as a leisurely brunch spot, a great place to take a date for a sunset cocktail, or somewhere to enjoy an incredible dinner with friends.

Pan-seared scallops are the dish guests rave about most, with the crab-stuffed petrale sole, chicken marsala, clams and mussels in pesto cream, and the HarborView Burger close behind; at happy hour, the deviled eggs and flash-fried Brussels sprouts disappear fast. The seasonal cocktail program is curated by Laura Spradlin, the “Cocktail Maven of the Coast”, whose more than 30 years of mixology shows in playful twists on old favorites and an ever-expanding line of hand-crafted bitters made on-site.

Whiskey lovers will find more than 130 selections to explore, from everyday sippers to old and rare bottles, with themed flights and a trained staff ready to guide guests to their next favorite dram. To round out the evening, ask for the cigar list and retire to the gazebo cigar lounge for a perfect smoke under the stars.

Golden West Saloon

Golden West Saloon

The Golden West seems to hold down the fort in Fort Bragg. The iconic saloon and hotel establishment has been open in some iteration since the mid 1800’s, serving patrons associated with the logging industry. The wooden carved bar is centerpiece in the saloon’s high ceilinged spacious main room and reminds you that this place has been here awhile. Sidle on up and order a margarita or beer on tap.

The Wharf

The Wharf

The breathtaking view from The Wharf  has been a destination for many over the years, with ample outside dining overlooking the Noyo River.
Located in the heart of the scenic Noyo Harbor Fishing Village, The Wharf is one of the oldest family-fun eating and lodging establishments on the Northern Coast of California. The Restaurant began in the early 1950’s as a small coffee shop overlooking the Noyo River and Pacific Ocean. The lodging units, operating under the name Anchor Lodge, date to the 1940’s and offers 5 waterfront and 12 economy rooms.

Full menu service is available in the Sports Lounge featuring television viewing from every angle and on the “dog friendly” deck weather permitting. The Wharf is open seven days a week, opening at 11 am. Closing times vary by season.

The commercial fishing fleet sails past the Wharf’s dining room and lounge windows in pursuit of salmon, albacore, cod, sea urchin, snapper and crab. Sport fishing charter boats, whale watching excursions, private boats, Coast Guard vessels, kayaks, row boats, seals and sea birds of all kinds will pass by as you enjoy our lunch or dinner at The Wharf. Come early to get a window table over the water and watch the world of Noyo Harbor unfold.
