This year the Shoreline Riders will be the final rodeo in a the Three Rebels Rodeo Series with Orick Rodeo and Ruth Rodeos. Rodeos will take place on Saturday and Sunday at noon,  with a BBQ Queen Coronation Dinner Saturday night. Join in the fun for lots of exciting events like the Hide Race, calf and steer riding, barrel racing, roping and of course ranch broncs and bulls!

A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats: Mobilizing the Blue Economy in Fort Bragg

Then, from 5pm – 8pm, a special First Friday is taking place downtown with kelp-themed shows at many galleries. 


The City of Fort Bragg, in partnership with California Sea Grant and Noyo Harbor District, are sharing findings from the Noyo Harbor Blue Economy Visioning, Resiliency and Implementation (BEVRI) Plan. The BEVRI Plan is a two-year planning initiative to create a roadmap for coastal resilience in Noyo Harbor and the region, balancing environmental stewardship with economic vitality. Members of the planning team will present on key technical studies – including the Sea Level Rise, Tsunami Hazards, and Erosion Resilience Strategy for Noyo Harbor, Aquaculture Feasibility Study, and Special District Analysis – and community members will share their experiences collaborating on this work.

There will be a multi-media exhibit to showcase the educational and outreach materials developed during the planning initiative and the projects that have stemmed from these efforts. Presentations and conversations will take place from 4-6 pm in Town Hall, then we invite you to grab a map and stroll through a kelp-themed First Friday. It is said that a rising ride lifts all boats: thank you for your participation

The Annual Fort Bragg Quilt Show


29th Annual Fort Bragg Quilt Show

June 28th & June 29th 10:00 AM to 4 PM

The 29th Annual Fort Bragg Quilt Show will have more than 160 quilts on display as well as wearable quilt items and quilted home decor. This is a judged event with ribbons given in each category. This year’s featured local artist is Ronnie Kemper, who will be showing a number of hre large and small quilts. A special quilt display will feature small quilts made to hang in shops throught town for the annual Fort Bragg Quilt Walf. A variety of ventors will be selling fabrics and handmade items both days.

Tickes are $10.00 per person and are good for Saturday and Sun-day. children under the age of 12 are admitted free.

The World’s Largest Salmon BBQ

Saturday, July 5, 2025 – South Noyo Harbor

The World’s Largest Salmon Barbecue is held each year on the first Saturday of July, with great food, live music and all proceeds going to the Salmon Restoration Association to improve salmon populations along the Mendocino County coast. The meal features grilled-to-perfection wild caught salmon, fresh corn on the cob, salad, and locally-sourced bread, coffee, wine and beer.

The 14th annual Festival of Lights will happen rain or shine every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from November 29 through December 22 at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. The gift shop will be open and there will be hot cocoa, apple cider, and sweets available for purchase. Santa will be strolling the lighted paths each Sunday, so bring your family for a dazzling photo op with Ol’ Saint Nick. Advanced tickets are strongly reccommended, this event will sell out. Bundle up and enjoy the imaginative displays, sweet treats, and holiday fun during this year’s Festival of Lights!
