The Noyo Marine Science Center is a museum and education center that appeals to all ages. Check their website for scheduled educational events and beach clean ups.
Open year around, the Noyo Fishing Center sells everything for the recreational fisherman and their families. Bait, tackle, ice, food and snacks, and marine accessories. They also rent kayaks.
Get in the water with local surfer Caleb Rickett, of North Coast Surf School. Take a lesson, or if you already know what you are doing, rent a board and wetsuit from Caleb along with some advice on what breaks are good to surf during your visit. Caleb offers private and group lessons, and camps in the summer months.
Ride horses on the Mendocino Coast! Offered are daily trail rides and beach rides, redwood coast riding, and even custom rides and riding vacation packages. They pride themselves as a business that runs on the principles of ecotourism and they have been feaured in the New York Times, USA Today, CNN, and NBC Bay Area.
A winery right on the ocean coast. Great to go during whale migration season as they swim right past! Large Saturday evening bonfires are held for members of their wine club and tastings are held on their incredible and remote ocean side patio. This is a must visit for any wine lover in town over 21!

Expereince the river boat and marine life around the harbor and relax while you glide down under the Noyo Bridge. Captain Dan is super knowledgeable and provides a leisurely and fun time during his tours of the life in the river.
